The Aticoff is particularly blessed in regard to its weather. Except in the northern lattitudes, the winter temperatures seldom dip below freezing. During the four winter months and at night during early spring and late autumn, there are a few days where the temperature dips below zero, and then gradual warming begins. The northern regions are much colder, wint being a consistent except at High Summer. In the southern regions, summer lasts four or five months. Prevailing winds tend to be from the northeast in winter and summer, from the east and southeast at other times. Most ares of the Aticoff have sufficient rainfall to assure abundant crops.
