Year BA -1006. The Lithonian Empire collapses as the last of the intelligent lizardmen fall to the effects of the devolution magic brought in the crash of the Elven Armada.

 

Year BA -1000. Athena sends Maillib Frostbow and Dralin Nightflame backwards through time to prevent Eris from altering reality. Dralin's slip of the tongue tips Eris off to Athena's plans and thus Eris ensures that Athena will lose the war, Athenor will be flooded, and Jaric killed, all factors which are attributed to the Darklord rising to power. Maillib builds his long bow out of wood from the soon-to-be-extinct whitewood trees that grow on the Aticoffian islands.

• The entire Athenian League disappears in one day by a massive flood. Athena leaves Welstar after bearing a child, Sikkar II.
• Jaric Goldshield and Max Mordo die in a fiery explosion.
• Talien Radisgad falls to his death.
• Gabrielle Baker, Claven Mastherik's apprentice, is killed in a magical accident.
• Christopher Ashman marries Christine Trent and becomes Baron of Bloodstone.

 

Year AA 2.

 

• Spartan Silverblade journeys to Sosel, learns Mad Monkey Fu and saves Ko La Ko's life.
• The Darklord's altar which contained a portion of the Nameless One's essence is shattered. His power is severely weakened, delaying the Darkwar for some time. This wakens the Nameless One from His long slumber within Crypt.
• Christopher Ashman attacks several people in a murderious rage and is arrested. Possessed by the Crown of Fire, breaks free from prison and flees southwards to Horassia. Christine Ashman, his wife, has her spirit placed in the Rod of Flame.
• Spartan Silverblade discovers he is a wereleopard and is expelled from the Knights of the Gryphon.
• Lopik Ashman's spirit possesses Ymerek Stat's Clockwork Dragon and attacks Bloodstone. He is defeated by the Icon of Hakiem.

 

Year AA 3.

 

• Christopher Ashman is arrested for the murder of his wife by the Knights of the Gryphon after being captured by Def Rillan, the bounty hunter. He is sentenced to 20 years and 60 days in the Keystone Arena, a brand for treason, and loss of all material goods.
• Cyclopes attack God's Eye Keep and activate a beacon to awaken Gruumsh's Ravager. The gigantic mechanical beholder will destroy all of Welstar if it is not stopped.
• Sakatha, undead Lizard King, is defeated. This is the last of the Darklord's influence in the Swamplands and will prove to be an important turning point in the Darkwar.
• The Ravager is defeated, narrowly saving the fate of Welstar.
• Ymerek Stats is charmed by a dryad and disppears with her.
• In the Keystone Arena, Christopher Ashman beheads Thadeus Kelvin.
• Spartan Silverblade crosses several Yaag-nesh who secretly infect him with a cerebral parasite that are carriers of a psionic plague which will later be the downfall of the Drensieqi nation.
• Korn Leither, now an undead vampire minion of the Darklord, leads a plague of rats and Darkrot to Keystone City. The cat god Rexfelis sends thousands of cats to destroy them, but King Gyrdant, an alurophobe, passes an edict which demands all cats be killed.
• Laeron Draelian defeats Spartan Silverblade, in wereleopard form, proving to the cat god Rexfelis that Cyrn is worthy of help. Spartan is cured, the cats destroy the rats, and the plague is averted.

 

Year AA 4.

 

• Dalog Mordo completes his Book of the Unicorn by slaying thousands of unicorns. Xavien puts Caramel Andrigson into hiding. The Darklord repays Dalog's efforts by placing him in the book. Nuala, Dalog's apprentice, steals the book and founds the School of Nekros.
• The Glenwei elves of Northern Svairn are embroiled in a civil war, as the nomad clans unite against the militaristic and much more civilized ruling houses. The child king, Uthian, leads the nomads, while his uncle, Evron, leads the ruling houses. In reality, Evron was possessed by a demon sent by the Darklord. The civil war allowed the Darklord's armies to advance much faster northwards than would normally have been possible.
• Maillib Frostbow finishes carving the fabled Frostbow.
• The Helm, Cloak, and Sword of Sleward are recovered and given to the Drensieqi King known as Cirel (Sleward's descendant) by Laeron Draelian and Spartan Silverblade. There presence in the Drensieqi lands brings a plague along with them, infecting the Drensieqi and destroying eventually destroying their homeland. Nevertheless, the three artifacts stem the tide of Arachne's advance.

 

Year AA 5.

 

• King Gyrdant is assassinated by the skeleton warrior, Thadeus Kelvin. Fell Kelvin is framed for it.
• Dalamar the Metagolem merges with the uppermost tower of God's Eye Keep and pilots the ship to a new promised land for the Drensieqi. That land is Wysoom, but few ever make the journey when the plague sweeps Drensieq.
• Claven Mastherik sets out to retrieve the soul of King Llwelyn, who was prophecised to return and replace King Gyrdant. He gets only half his soul, reincarnated in the Amazon Queen of Sosel, Ardel Amazonia. She returns as Queen of Keystone.
• Gabrielle Baker and Talien Radisgad are cloned from their dead bodies through Claven Mastherik's magic. They subsequently go into hiding.
• Christopher Ashman is bought by Fell Kelvin to prove his innocence. He and Spartan Silverblade prove that Thadeus Kelvin and Nuala committed regicide. Ashman gains his freedom and Spartan is restored to Knighthood.
• Dalog and his apprentice, Nuala, help Wetyzlbaum become a Dracolich at the School of Nekros. Wetzylbaum flees to consume 10% of his original corpse, which was made into armor that was given to Fell Kelvin. Fell is badly mauled and nearly dies.
• Fell Kelvin is chosen as Ardel's true love, and the next King, by the Hyrtstone. Marty Cardluck reveals evidence of the High Council's treason acts. Spartan Silverblade touches the Heartstone to discover that his true love, Caramel Andrigson, is trapped on another world.

 

Year AA 6.

 

• Laeron is kidnapped by the Darklord and loses his right arm. He is given the title of Zumb Tarbor, "The Brooding Dragon."
• Wetzylbaum directs Ymerek Stats on the location of the missing Gargantuoid parts. However, in return, Christopher Ashman is required to destroy the Dragon Plaza without harming any dragons. Wetzylbaum takes over the Dragon Plaza instead and uses it to form the Council of Wyrms, with himself as King.
• Ymerek discovers Wild Magic and Loki bestows his blessing upon him.
• Dalog attempts to draw God's Eye Keep into Ravenloft but is defeated by Spartan Silverblade.
• In a magical battle, Cutter Gyrdant is hurled to another dimension known as Earth.
• Xavien's Transforming Gargantuoid is reassembled by Hakiem. Xavien rebuilds Volkumburgh and reestablishes the Transmuter College.
• Fell Kelvin's mechanical fist, a gift from Azurax Silverhawk from a long time past, turns on him and nearly kills him. Fell retaliates by having Azurax assassinated.
• During a magical battle in the now crumbling lands of Drensieq, Boldor the Formless falls in love with Ymerek Stats.
• Alentar Newoak murders a stone giant family in a fit of rage. This horrible act will mar the question of his sainthood and the Druid Circle named after him years later. Sharakan, an ancient Black Dragon, is a witness. Lit Silverblade, the only surviving stone giant who is two years old, is adopted by Spartan Silverblade. Spartan leaves a huge sum of money in the hands of Sun Wolf Zebediah, heavily tipping Zeb's chances at becoming Pharoah in his favor.

 

Year AA 7.

 

• Apshai, god of Kreen, is corrupted by the Darklord. The misguided Kreen kidnap Queen Shalah.
• Princess Shalah is supposed to marry Sun Wolf Zebediah, uniting the Jalanoi and Sephrani clans. However, Princess Shalah's singing voice is a sign of her Jalanoi heritage, and due to Ymerek Stats' Wild Magic, she loses her voice. Outraged, Ymerek Stats is imprisoned in the decadent Meritoson city of Khaibar.
• Dralin Nightflame finally recovers the Nightflame blade and has his soul destroyed by it.
• Laeron Draelian recovers the Orb and Rod of Cyrn. With it, he restores Princess Shalah's singing voice. Before they can be married, Princess Shalah is kidnapped by King Redbeard.
• Kilburn Stratos discovers that Caramel Andrigson is actually a unicorn. He kidnaps her and ransoms her back to Spartan Silverblade. Using the Orb and Rod of Cyrn, Spartan returns Caramel to her true form as a unicorn.
• Darselai retaliates against the Jingling Circus run by Kilburn Stratos. Kilburn escapes but the Circus is ruined.
• King Redbeard of the Fire Giants, Imix's minion, is defeated by Spartan Silverblade but not before the artifact known as Severer cuts the Silverblade in half.
• Imix is defeated by Christopher Ashman in one-on-one combat. He is the first Dark God of the five aligned against Welstar to fall. Christine Ashman, free of Imix's curse, takes over another woman's body. Princess Shalah is rescued and marries Sun Wolf Zebediah, uniting the two tribes of the Meritoson and consolidating Zebediah's power as Pharoah.
• Arachne attacks Keystone City by shifting the capital to Crypt.

 

Year AA 8.

 

• Dukgash, king of Uruks, battles Spartan in one-on-one combat. Dukgash wins.
• Baba Yaga instructs Spartan Silverblade in how to mend the Silverblade -- by journeying to Earth and capturing the Mace of Cyrn. Spartan does so and restores the Silverblade. Cutter Gyrdant returns with them.
• Ardel forms the Knights of the Gryphon.
• Ymerek Stats, Christopher Ashman and Spartan Silverblade free Jreasten dwarves from Arachne's rule and drive her from Crypt. She is the second Dark God to fall. The dwarves return with them to join in the Darkwar and restore the Jreast nation.
• The Lithonians are re-evolved into their intellectually superior forms through Ymerek Stats' efforts and ancient magic. The Lithonian nation overthrows the more barbaric Lizard Men and reclaims the Swamplands.
• Apshai, god of the Kreen, is defeated by Ymerek Stats and Claven Mastherik. He is the third Dark God to fall.
• Loki switches sides and decides to align with the good deities. He is the fourth Dark God to fall.
• Wetzylbaum makes an alliance with the Dwarves of Jreast and promises to attack the Darklord's flank.

 

Year AA 9.

 

• The Darklord attempts a preemptive strike but a majority of his troops are taken down by the Lithonians in the Swamplands. His skeleton legions never reach Keystone's western front.
• The [Third Darkwar[. Xavien and Wetzylbaum battle over the Darklord's Batholith before finally reconciling and uniting to defeat the Darklord's forces. The dragons lend their considerable firepower against the undead armies. The dwarves use their gunpowder cannons to blow a hole in the Darklord's defenses. Of the Pentacate, Sothgar, Boldor, Darselai, and the Darklord are all defeated. Only Murdros escapes. Xavien, Ymerek Stats, Claven Mastherik, and Alentar Newoak all give their lives to save Welstar. A gigantic tree erupts from where the Batholith once stood, the Darkwall disappears, and all undead are burned off of Welstar by the combined efforts of the five other planets coming to life.
• Claven Ashman, named in honor of Claven Mastherik, is born.
• Cutter Gyrdant claims his right to the throne as bastard son of the former king. Fell Kelvin does not recognize his right to rule. Cutter retaliates by poisoning Keystone City's drinking supply.
• Jastafalga, the Dragon Prince, recovers several Lithonian artifacts, including the Rod of Dragonic Resurrection. The Lithonian gods are brought back. A new age is ushered in for the Lithonian people.

 

Year AA 10.

 

• Molyemaia's undead spirit takes over a dwarven fortress from Crypt and gates it to Welstar. She uses it to attack Christopher Ashman. Jastafalga uses the Rod of Dragonic Resurrection on Molyemaia, transforming her into a living dragon and subsequently killing her.
• Wetzylbaum takes the Rod of Resurrection from Jastafalga and attempts to use it on himself. It success in reversing his dracolich form but ages him thousands of years, causing the Twilight to descend upon him. Blind and barely mobile, he consumes tons of dwarven firepowder and summons Christopher Ashman to him. Ashman narrowly escapes with his life. Read full story.
• The [Circle of St. Alentar] is formed within the Druid heirarchy.
• Deren Usher discovers the Eye and Hand of the Darklord. He uses both and immediately becomes possessed by the Darklord and begins a quest to open a portal and summon him.

 

Year AA 11.

 

• The Shadow Circle alleges that St. Alentar was not so saintly after all. They search for evidence the Alentar committed a terrible sin. Sharakan, the black dragon from Drensieq, is sought out.
• Sharakan exchanges information for release from the destroyed Drensieq land. He establishes himself as god of the Lithonians and King of the Council of Wyrms.
• Lit Silverblade disappears while under the ettin Knick-Knack Twoheads care. She is sent into hiding as the Shadow Circle attempts to ferret her out.
• The Council of Wyrms elects Jastafalga as their King. Civil war threatens to erupt amongst the dragons.
• The Darklord, now a god, attempts to return to Welstar. He is defeated when challenged by Sharakan and they both fall through a dimensional rift. Deren Usher falls through the rift and ends up on Perdow with amnesia. Read full story.

 

Year AA 12.

 

• The Shadow Circle's bid for High Druid fails. Christine Ashman wins the position and the Circle of Alentar becomes the dominant Circle.
• Spartan Silverblade founds the Order of the Silverblade and begins training them to defend Welstar's extradimensional borders. Kai aligns himself with several extradimensional allies to create a spy network.

 

Year AA 13.

 

• Gunther the male giant discovers his true identity as Lit Silverblade, the female stone giant and chief witness to Alentar's murder.

 

Year AA 14.

 

• The Horassian Tsar, Peter the Great, attempts to expand his military might into the Northern Wastes to blockade further expansion of the Keystone Kingdom. Aleksander Ivanovich Baranov leads the initiative and attempts to found Fort Novo Arkhangel'sk. It is destroyed under mysterious circumstances. Read full story.

• Ymerek Stats takes Keldan on as a student and disappears trying to save Gydnia from a tornado. Read full story.

 

Year AA 37.

 

• The Mo Chi Kung Fu School of Demon Fighting is destroyed by a series of lightning raids.
• Queen Ardel dies of mysterious circumstances. Her last edict is to adopt Sikkarism as the national religion of Keystone.
• Pagans throughout Keystone City are stricken by a series of ten plagues. Pagans leave en-masse into the Swamplands.

 

Year AA 38.

 

• Khazaria is rediscovered, and the Hyrtstone destroyed in the wake of a demon army. One of the Demon Stones is snatched away to the Northern Kingdoms. The Diaspora for Khazarins begins.
• Lithonians declare a new war on all living beings in an orgy of sacrifice upon the return of Quetzalcoatl.
• The First Holy Crusade is initiated by the Cathedral on all pagan nations.

 

Year 325.

 

• Ko La Ko dies, ending the demon fued with the Shih. Read full story.

• Founding of the Royal Geological Society in Keystone City.

• Jeremy Beckett discovers "Beckett's Beast", believed to be the remains of Wetzylbaum.

 

Year AA 626.

 

• Jeremy Beckett proves that the "Beast" is in fact two distinct creatures and by doing so disproves the existence of dragons. He names the second one "Dragosaurus Kelvini" after his longstanding battle his political archrival, Fellington Kelvin. Read full story.
